The Tallulah Academy Trojans fell for just the second time this season in a 10-1 defeat at the hands of the Porter's Chapel Eagles Friday in Tallulah.
Both teams remained scoreless until the Trojans grabbed a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning, but the Eagles added all 10 of its runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead and the win.
Dee Morgan started the game on the mound for Tallulah Academy. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out ten, according to GameChanger.com.
Luke Moberley took the loss for TA. The lefty allowed one hit and six runs.
Morgan led the Trojans' offense with 2 hits from 3 at bats.
With the loss, the Trojans fall to 5-2 on the season. TA will next hit the baseball diamond Tuesday versus Briarfield Academy on the road in Lake Providence. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
