The Madison High School Jaguars improved to 19-1 on the season Friday night with a blowout victory over the Vidalia Vikings at home in Tallulah.
The contest remained close after the first period, with the Jags holding a slim, 7-2 lead, but MHS opened up offensively in the second period, while remaining stingy on defense, to take a 30-9 lead into halftime.
The third quarter was all Jags, as MHS ended the period with a 57-20 advantage, and the Jags allowed only 10 points in the fourth quarter, while tacking on 23, for the big, 80-30 win.
The Jaguars are next scheduled to take on Ferriday Tuesday on the road. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
