The Madison High School Jaguars improved to 3-2 on the season with last week's homecoming win over SCI Academy.
The Jags shutout the Commodores 32-0 and will be looking to carry that momentum over to this week, when MHS will travel to Rayville in a bid to spoil the Hornets' homecoming game. The contest will also serve as the opening of conference play for the Jags.
The Hornets are winless on the season at 0-6 and are coming off a 42-24 loss to General Trass last week.
MHS head coach Milton Green said his team has been focused all week on the matchup with its rival.
"We're looking forward to Rayville," he said after last week's win. "That's going to be one of our biggest games; our biggest rivals."
The Jags and Hornets are scheduled to kick off in Rayville Friday at 7 p.m.
