The Madison High School Jaguars varsity squad got to watch the JV team notch a 33-26 win over the Ferriday junior varsity Trojans before adding a victory of their own Friday night in Tallulah.
The varsity Jags improved to 4-1 on the season with a 63-53 win to finish off the team's November home slate.
The Jags led the Trojans 15-8 after the first period and 34-25 heading into halftime.
In the third frame, the Jags increased its lead to 13 heading into the final quarter. MHS ceded a bit of ground in the final period, but stayed in control to cement the 10-point victory.
With its latest home win secured, the Jags will hit the road Monday to face the Delhi Charter School Gators before returning home Friday for a match up with Block.
