The Madison High School Jaguars put on display what has earned them the No.-5 rank in Class 2A with a 69-45 thumping of the Ferriday Trojans Tuesday night in Tallulah.
The Jags moved to 16-1 on the season with Tuesday's win. MHS jumped out to a slight 19-13 lead in the first period before extending the scoring gap to nine, leading 35-26 at the half.
After three periods the Jags lead the Trojans 49-36 before going on an offensive tear in the fourth to earn the decisive win.
