The Delhi Charter School Gators fell to 0-3 on the season Friday night with a 44-8 loss to the West Monroe Rebels.
The Gators were coming off back-to-back shootouts, both which saw DCS fall by 42-36 scores late in the games.
It took Rayville all of the Gators’ home-opener to get a win, as DCS failed to get into the end zone a final time as time expired in the contest.
A week later on the road in Bastrop the situation was similar as the Gators fell to the Rams in overtime.
With Friday’s loss to the Rebels, the Gators began preparation for this week’s third straight road game. DCS will face the 1-2 St. Frederick Warriors Friday in Monroe in a non-district matchup.
The Warriors are coming off a 30-0 loss to the Jena Giants on the road in Jena.
Kickoff between the Gators and Warriors is scheduled for 7 p.m.
