The Tallulah Rotary Club was up early Saturday, providing a free breakfast for local veterans and first responders at TA Truck Stop.
The annual event is held in appreciation of the service provided by local veterans of the U.S. military, local law enforcement, fire fighters, EMTs and other first responders.
Rotary officials said it was nice to be able to provide the breakfast again, after several events over the past two years were hampered by COVID-19 restrictions.
Tallulah Rotary Club President Arthur Lee said, while numbers were not as large as at last year’s event, the club was thrilled to provide a free, hot breakfast for approximately 25 first responders and veterans in attendance.
