Early voting for the Oct. 14, gubernatorial primary election in Louisiana will begin Saturday (Sept. 30) and will run through Sat., Oct. 7.
Early voting will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily, excluding Sun., Oct. 1.
The race includes candidates for Louisiana governor, secretary of state, attorney general, treasurer, state board of education District 5, state Senate District 34, state representatives for districts 19 and 21. Madison Parish sheriff, police jurors for districts 1, 3, 4, and 5, parish-wide school district No. 2 proposition, statewide constitutional amendments, and a City of Tallulah proposition.
