The Madison High School cheerleading team left Tallulah for UCA cheer camp in New Orleans over the summer, and when they returned, three members of the squad had been named All-Americans.
After racking up a number of group awards at the camp, including the Flamingo Stick, a Spirit Stick, three Blue Ribbons for Game Day, second overall in Cheer, third overall for Game Day Ready and a Leadership Award, the MHS team also notched three All-American honors.
Receiving the designation of All-American were sophomore Shekinah Hall, sophomore Chara Atkins, junior Kaitlyn Turner.
As a result of their accomplishments, the trio will be headed on official UCA trips in December, with Turner scheduled to travel to London, while Hall and Atkins have earned trips to Hawaii.
