Information for Councilmen of proof of completion of applications of LGAP and CWEF grants. Thank You Gen Ellis Clerk
Motion to read the minutes from the previous meeting of May 17 and May 26,2022 were made by Councilman Margaret Leoty, seconded by Councilman Walter Cobb. Motion Carried.
Motion to approve the Financial Statements as paid for the month of May 2022, was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilman Margaret Leoty. Motion Carried.
There being no Old Business, motion was made by Councilman Walter Cobb to enter into Public Meeting from Regular Meeting, motion was seconded by Councilman Margaret Leoty. Motion Carried.
New Business:
Motion to amend the Village of Richmond General Fund amended budget for the year ended June 30, 2022. Motion made by Councilman Lamar Walters, seconded by Councilman Walter Cobb. Vote: yeas 3 nays 0 absent 0. Motion Carried.
Motion to adopt the Village of Richmond General Fund proposed budget for the year ended June 30, 2022, was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilman Lamar Walters. Vote: yeas 3 Nays 0 Absent 0. Motion Carried. Copies in each Councilman’s folders.
Motion to return to REGULAR MEETING from Public Meeting was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilman Lamar Walters. Motion Carried.
Discussion on Plan Reviews for Kevin Taylor Building Permit #24 Christy Lynn Street…. will need VOR sewer line for tap.
Councilman ‘s reports:
Lamar Walters: none
Margaret Leoty: Councilman Margaret Leoty reported the Police Jury is working together with the Village of Richmond on mowing the high grass along the drainage ditches. Councilman Leoty requested an update on the LGAP and CWEF grant applications . Clerk Ellis informed the council that both grant applications have been submitted. Councilman Leoty asked for an update on the sign ordered for the dump site. Clerk Ellis informed the council that the sign has been posted at the site.
Walter Cobb: Excavator has been repaired, for a cost of over $10,000.00
