VILLAGE OF DELTA
BOARD MEETING
April 18, 2023
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF DELTA HELD its Regular meeting at Delta City Hall on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Present were Mayor Marvin Ashley, Council Members Kathy Davis, Pam Stokes, Stephanie Edleston and Clerk Susan Peterson.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to dispense with the minutes from the last meeting. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
The Council Members reviewed the Expense Reports and Budget for the Month of March 2023.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve the bills paid in March 2023. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Mayor Ashley updated the Council Members on progress of the Recreation Grant.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve Proclamation for April 10, 2023 Thru April 14, 2023 being Community Development Week.
Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve Proclamation for Month of April 2023 as Fair Housing Month. Yeas 3 Nay 0 Motion carried.
Mayor Ashley updated Council Members on the copier contract.
Mayor Ashley discussed with the Council Members about Love the Boot cleanup event being held on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
New Business:
Mayor Ashley discussed with Council Members the possibility of amending livestock ordinance.
Mayor Ashley discussed with Council Members condemned buildings in the Village of Delta.
