President Sharon Jackson called the Special Board meeting of the Madison Parish School Board to order on December 6, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at the Madison Parish Training Center (Board Meeting Room), 600 Bayou Drive, Tallulah, Louisiana by asking for a moment of silent prayer. The audience recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

District 4: Ms. Sharon Jackson Present
District 5: Mr. Darrell D. Sims Present
District 6: Rev. Oscar Hamilton Present
District 7: Mrs. Lisa Johnson Present
District 8: Mrs. Marguerite Hargrave Present
On the motion of Rev Hamilton and seconded by Mrs. Hargrave the board voted to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
On the motion of Mr. Sims and seconded by Rev. Hamilton to present item (b) Consider approving incentive pay for overall Performance Growth Level Grade from a “D” to a “C” to all Madison High employees employed at Madison High School year 2021-2022 that are still employed in the district (ESSER). On motion of Ms. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Wilson the board voted to approve the incentive pay for Madison High School staff year 2021-2022. Motion carried.
On motion of Ms. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Wilson to present item (c) Consider estimated December 2022 Sales Tax Supplement to be distributed on or before December 10, 2022. On motion of Rev. Hamilton and seconded by Mr. Wilson the board voted to consider the December Sales Tax Supplement. Motion carried.
On motion of Rev. Hamilton and seconded by Ms. Johnson to present added item to board of payment of attorney fees. On motion of Ms. Johnson and seconded by Rev. Hamilton to approve payment of attorney fees. Motion carried.
On the motion of Rev. Hamilton and seconded by Ms. Johnson, the special board meeting was adjourned. Motion carried.
