NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the filing in the Succession and to all other interested persons that an application for authority to sell immovable property described as,
Commence at the Northeast corner of Section Two (2), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Thirteen (13) East; Thence North 89 degrees 33 minutes West, 825.0 feet to a point; Thence South 0 degrees 12 minutes West, 3061.0 feet to a 1-1/4” iron pipe; Thence North 89 degrees 33 minutes West, 548.3 feet to a point; Thence South 0 degrees 12 minutes West, 170 feet to a point; Thence South 4 degrees 41 minutes East, 92.3 feet to the “Point of Beginning”; Thence North 89 degrees 33 minutes West, 127.0 feet to a point; Thence South 0 degrees 38 minutes West, 163.29 feet to a point; Thence South 85 degrees 10 minutes East, a distance of 137.81 feet to a point on the West right of way line of the Byson Road; Thence Northerly along said West right of way line to the “Point of Beginning”. Containing 0.51 acres, more or less, as per plat recorded in Conveyance Book “00”, page 458, records of Madison Parish together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all rights, ways and appurtenances thereto belonging, or in any manner appertaining.

A tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the SE ¼ of Section 2k Township 16 North Range 13 East, Madison Parish, Louisiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at 1/1/4 iron pipe on north side or parish gravel road, said point located approximately 825.00 feet west of section line common to Sections 1 and 2 and approximately 3061.00 feet south of township line common to Township 16 North and 17 North. Run thence South 00 degrees 12’00” West, a distance of 42.80 feet to a point, thence along South side of gravel road North 85 degrees 52’00” West, a distance of 215.52 feet to East top bank of canal, thence along East top bank of canal South 01 degrees 49’00” West a distance of 140.94 feet to a point, thence North 89 degrees 33’00” West a distance of 329.41 feet to a 1/2” iron pipe in West ditch of Byson Road, thence along said road North 00 degrees 12’00” East, a distance of 170.00 feet to a ½” iron pipe located in center of said gravel road, thence South 89 degrees 33’00” East, a distance of 548.30 feet to a 1-1/4” iron pipe being THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Said tract of land containing 1.47 acres, more or less, and is subject to right of way of parish gravel roads, as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part of this description.

At private sale shall be made by the executor, praying for authorization to SALE the immovable property at private sale to JAMES KEVIN COLLINS and ANNA ELIZABETH COLLINS for the sum of $33,000.00. Any heir, legatee, or creditor who opposes the proposed sale of said property must file an opposition within seven (7) days from the date on which the last publication appears, all in accordance with La. C.C.P. Art. 3282.
