BID NOTICE
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Commissioner, Fifth Louisiana Levee District, 102 Burnside Drive, Tallulah, LA 71282, up until 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and then publicly opened and read for the agricultural lease of lands described as:
A 400.00 acre tract situated in Section 16, T5N-R7E Concordia Parish, Louisiana.
A 40 acre tract situated in Section 34, T18N-R12E Madison Parish, Louisiana.
Bids must be accompanied by a $100 deposit which will be returned to all except the successful bidder.
Lessee must at all times during lease term carry and maintain public liability insurance in the amount of $1,000, 000.00 against claims for bodily injury, death, or property damage, occurring on the property. LESSOR MUST BE PROVIDED WITH CERTIFICATE OF SUCH COVERAGE.
Terms of lease shall be for cash rental, payable annually in advance. Lease shall be executed for period of THREE (3) YEARS, beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2024.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
