The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) has launched a new online portal designed to make monthly waste tire fee reporting faster, simpler and more accessible for waste tire generators across the state.
In September 2025, waste tire generators were able to begin submitting their monthly reports and payments through a secure digital form at https://la.accessgov.com/deq/Forms/Page/deq/deq-waste-tires/1. The new system was developed through a partnership between LDEQ and Tyler Technologies Inc., to modernize reporting and streamline compliance with Louisiana’s Waste Tire Management Program.
“This new digital reporting tool represents another step forward in our efforts to modernize LDEQ’s systems,” LDEQ Secretary Courtney J. Burdette said. “By simplifying and streamlining compliance processes for waste tire generators, we’re making it easier for businesses to do their part while allowing the agency to amplify our focus on our mission to protect Louisiana’s environment.”
In its first month of operation, the new reporting tool saw strong participation — with 23% of users utilizing the system after receiving information from LDEQ. Of 2,060 notices successfully sent to waste tire generators, 483 users submitted their reports through the new online form.
“The response from users in the first month has been extremely positive,” Undersecretary Theresa Delafosse said. “This system is secure, efficient and user-friendly — exactly the kind of innovation that helps both our stakeholders and our staff work smarter.”
The new online form contains a number of convenient features including:
·Auto-calculated totals and built-in validation for accurate reporting.
·The ability to save progress and return later by creating a free account.
·Secure, instant payment options using a credit card, debit card or eCheck.
·Automatic email confirmation with a PDF copy of the completed form and payment receipt.
·Full mobile accessibility, allowing users to submit reports from any device, anywhere.
There is a $2.50 convenience fee for all payments, with an additional 2.5% credit card fee for credit card transactions.
A User’s Guide is available on the portal’s homepage to help users navigate the new system step-by-step. Users can scan the QR code below linking directly to the portal for quick access:
