The Madison High School Jaguars fell 48-12 to the General Trass Panthers Wednesday night in Tallulah during a home game being played early due to concerns of inclement weather Friday night as a result of Hurricane Delta's arrival in Louisiana.
The Jags led early in the contest, jumping out to a 12-6 lead on the strength of a short touchdown pass, but the Panthers bounced back with 28 unanswered points to end the first half with a substantial 34-12 advantage.
The Panthers tacked on another 14 points in the second half, while holding the Jaguars scoreless to pull out the victory on the road.
