The 2020 Class 2A, District 2 All-District football team has been named by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), and a host of Madison High School Jaguars made this year’s cut.
Making the first-team All-District roster on offense was the Jaguars’ Marquise Hicks, an MHS senior who is classified as an athlete. Hicks was also named to the first-team All-District defense as a defensive back.
Making the second-team All-District offense was sophomore running back Shaman Shoemaker and sophomore kick returner Lil’Jayvion Simms. Named to the second-team All-District defense were junior defensive back Jiquan Davis and freshman defensive lineman Logan Hughes. Shoemaker was also named to the second-team defensive as a linebacker.
Included as honorable mentions for the 2020 season were Jailynn Puckett, Omarion Walker, Armand Moore, Tyler Smith, Joel Steward, Carl Martin, Greg Medley, Rushaun White, Ken Townsend, Rashaad Weathersby, Dinaj Johnson, Corey Moore and Issac Frost.
