Drug traffickers from Lafayette area sentenced for possession of heroin

LAFAYETTE, La. – United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced that Lensly Johnnie, 38, of Lafayette, Louisiana, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Robert R. Summerhays on drug charges. Johnnie was sentenced to 88 months (7 years, 4 months) in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.

Winnsboro Man Sentenced for illegal possession of a firearm

MONROE, La. – Eric Marquelle Coleman, 49, of Winnsboro, Louisiana, was sentenced today for illegal possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. United States District Judge Terry A. Doughty sentenced Coleman to 96 months (8 years) in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.
