Funeral services for Clifford Talmage Sanders, 90, of Ringgold, LA., were held at 11 a.m. Tues., Sept. 29, 2020, at Beulah Baptist Church, 12777 Highway 585 at Oak Grove, LA. The Rev. Billy Davis officiated.
Interment followed at the Concord Cemetery on Highway 585 near Oak Grove. Services were under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Visitation was held from 10 until 11 a.m. Tues., Sept. 29, 2020, at Beulah Baptist Church, 12777 Highway 585 at Oak Grove.
Mr. Sanders passed into eternal life on Thurs., Sept. 24, 2020, at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Oma Grace (Jackson) Sanders; father, James Monroe Sanders; mother, Annie Ethel (Rollinson) Sanders; son, Michael Wayne Sanders; grandson, John Aaron Gill; son-in-law, Tommy Ray Gill; daughter-in-law, Amy Sanders; and three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by son, John T. Sanders of Bradley, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Carolyn Sanders, of Tallulah; son, Nathan Quinton Sanders, of Panama City Beach, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Sanders and Bill Davis of Social Springs, LA; daughter, Kathy Sanders Gill of Taylorsville, GA; daughter, Krystal Sanders Allums of Coushatta, LA; 24 grandchildren: John Sanders, Jr., Tommy Ray Gill, Jr., Julious Michael Gill, Wendy Gill Young, Fran Gill Bates, Michelle Sanders LeJeune, Tonya Sanders Holloway, Dani Sanders Tuggle, Cheyene Sanders Summerville, Quinton Sanders, Natasha Sanders, April Batton, Jason Cobb, Justin Davis, Jennifer Davis Bates, Keith Gill, Kevin Gill, Tayler Sanders, Tyler Sanders, Coty Harrison, Colt Harrison, Devin Harrison, Susan Mayberry, and Kimberly Chism; a host of great and great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Brandon “B. J.” Allums, Jr., Tommy Ray Gill, Jr., Julious Michael Gill, Quinton Sanders, Jr., John Martin Bowling and Shea Bates.
