Three men are behind bars in Madison Parish this week after a joint effort between Louisiana State Police and Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of narcotics.
According to MPSO officials, narcotics units from both the sheriff’s office and the LSP arrested 28-year-old Kodey Goulette, 21-year-old Holden Bolden and 22-year-old Jon McNeil after complaints taken Fri., April 9, led them to the trio.
MPSO Investigator and Public Information Officer Brandon Wiltcher said the men were discovered with varying amounts of illegal substances, including approximately 2.5 pounds of suspected marijuana. During the arrest, Wiltcher said, Goulette was also found to have a small amount of what law enforcement agents believed to have been methamphetamine on his person.
Goulette was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bolden was charged with possession of a Schedule I narcotic. McNeil was charged with possession of a Schedule I narcotic with intent to distribute and was also held on warrants from West Carroll Parish.
All three men were booked into the Madison Parish Jail.
