As the rain continues to fall, residents in Tallulah and the Village of Richmond are working to keep the rising waters out of homes and businesses.

Tallulah finished first in its district in this year’s Cleanest City Contest, scoring 97.3 out of a possible 100 points. The city will now move on to state competition, with judging being held Wed., April 27.

The Madison High School Jaguars baseball team is now 8-3 on the season and 3-1 in district play after knocking off the Carroll Bulldogs last week at home in Tallulah.
